Photo Shoot Coordinator and Stylist - Full Time, Sutton-in-Ashfield

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Photo Shoot Coordinator and Stylist to join our busy Design Studios.

The Romo Group is a family run business and recognised worldwide, with extensive international distribution Romo has six established brands all of which have their own unique character and style. international textile and wallcovering design house.

Working in collaboration with external stylists and photographers, liaising with Creative Directors, Design Studios, Marketing and PR you will co-ordinate all aspects of our photo shoots to present our fabric and wallcovering collections to the highest standard through various media and platforms. From instructing seamstresses and upholsterers to organising the logistics of location booking, prop hire and set build, you will ensure each photo shoot runs smoothly.

What will you do?

  • Liaising with Creative Directors, Design studios, Marketing & PR teams and working with external stylists & photographers to co-ordinate photo shoots and styling for new product launches
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of our photoshoots from instructing seamstresses and upholsterers to organising the logistics of location booking, prop hire and set build.
  • Planning & executing photo shoots in a professional and timely manner, managing budgets and timescales
  • Effective communication and conducting in person meetings with stylists to plan photoshoots, this will include setting the brief, co-ordinating dates, planning shots, arranging props, finalising furniture, discussing makes, set build etc.
  • Organising the logistics of each shoot e.g. sending call sheets, preparing packing lists, coordinating hotel bookings, planning food deliveries
  • Attending photo shoots and communicating with the photographer/ stylist on set to ensure all requirements are being met.
  • Preparing images and formats post shoot to enable image selection.
  • Co-ordinate with Marketing team to progress colour correction and retouching.
  • Prepare image credits for PR and brochure
  • Create regular content for our digital media platforms, including capturing behind the scenes imagery and styling mood boards and vignettes.
  • Using artistic skills or computer-aided design (CAD) packages to create mood boards, visuals and plans to communicate ideas.
  • Supporting internal and external product presentations / webinars– ensuring the set and any samples required are prepared.

Design & Delivery of any ad hoc projects required by the business.

  • Central point of contact for all queries relating to photoshoot.
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation

Requirements:

  • Excellent planning skills and the ability to respond to time frames and meet deadlines in an orderly manner
  • Be highly organised in managing own workload with ability to prioritise
  • Experience of photo shoots within Interiors, or a similar role
  • Excellent visualisation, presentation and communication skills
  • IT competent and preferably with skills in design software such as Photoshop
  • Able to adapt to change at short notice
