What will you do?

  • Collaborate with the Senior Web Developer and Marketing team to enhance the development and future direction of The Romo Group brand & corporate websites and provide support for all internal and external web-related functions.
  • Write and develop website modules to expand and enhance website functionality to include:
    • Specifying website module requirements
    • Collaborating with the Marketing department to create graphic designs including the conversion of graphic designs into working web code
    • Testing code and writing automated tests
    • Deploying code using Git
    • Enhancing, maintaining, and bug-fixing existing website modules
  • Write code through a variety of methods including web API’s and bash scripting to interface with internal systems and databases
  • Propose new ideas for ways to continually improve and develop our website and our digital marketing practices
  • Support with shaping our future web development through testing and evaluating new technologies and exploring innovative ways to improve internal systems
  • A minimum of 3 years working as a developer
  • An understanding of Ecommerce / Ecommerce platforms
  • Proven ability to identify and develop a strong website through a responsive design and layout
  • Confident working effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to program Object Oriented PHP Code using a framework such as Yii2 or similar.
  • Ability to write Javascript using (but not limited to) JQuery.
  • Ability to style pages using CSS3.
  • Ability to create websites using Responsive Design techniques.
  • Ability to create relational databases using MYSQL or similar
  • Experience of using an ORM db access framework.
  • Experience of using Git Source Control or similar,
  • Experience of using Linux OS (Centos 7) or similar with an understanding of Linux command line usage and ability to bash scripting and conduct basic system maintenance
  • Highly motivated and flexible with excellent communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail

What will you do?

  • Delivery of all organic Social Media communication for The Romo Group
  • Build and develop relationships with key interior communitiessuch as Top 100 Designers, publishers, interior influencers, other interior brands, etc. across our major markets
  • Sourcing and building a customer project image library
  • Help identify key influencers to partnership with for each brand
  • Ensure that communications with these audiences becomes a two-way dialogue and that responses occur in an agile manner
  • Ensure ‘always on’ and creative Story content
  • Work with the studios and copywriters to agree the social media content calendar and strategy
  • Partner with the graphics team and the stylists within Brands to ensure creative assets are briefed and delivered on specification
  • Ensure regular high performance posting across all social media platforms including but not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn across all brands to grow KPIs
  • Stay up to date on algorithm changes, new technologies, trends, and opportunities; communicate changes and impacts to the wider Team
  • Produce regular reports on performance to inform future evolution
  • Manage a number of briefs at one time, and deliver these on time, on brand while constantly looking to improve the quality
  • Attend industry events
  • Some PR support including press release writing and distribution, assisting with press loans, reporting and other admin
  • Previous experience working in a Social Media role
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Sked, Later)
  • Strong attention to detail with a high-level of accuracy

The role will involve:

  • Maintaining the purchase ledger: processing purchase invoices, identifying discrepancies, reconciling the ledger.
  • Processing purchase invoices, credits, and statement reconciliations.
  • Liaising with overseas agents
  • Collating overseas payment requests and creating a log of payments received
  • Dealing with supplier and customer queries.
  • Checking import SAD documents and matching to fedex/ups bills
  • Sending matched invoices and SAD documents to overseas accounts
  • Setting up and processing payments – checking bank details
  • Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy
  • Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required
  • Plan, organise and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company’s monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure swift payment of invoices and process payments and transfers
  • Resolution of finance related queries
  • Assist with end of year preparation and procedures

A unique opportunity is available for an experienced Spanish speaking administrator to join our busy and diverse Export department. With customers at the heart of our business, your role will be to support our Spanishspeaking overseas agents, distributors, and customers. You will work in collaboration with a team of expert linguists to ensure our customer journey runs smoothly by keeping them up to date through telephone and email conversations. Your linguist skills will be used to translate a mixture of PR & Marketing documents promoting our luxury fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings, and accessories which are distributed through our agents and distributors including the press.

To be successful in this role we are seeking a qualified and fluent Spanish speaking linguists who is highly motivated, proactive, and organised. You will have either previously worked in a customer service role or have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, responding to tight deadlines, and prioritising your own workload. Whilst Spanish is an essential requirement to the role, other languages would be desirable.

Colour Retoucher - Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire

Combine your excellent eye for colour and detail and experience of colour retouching to a very high standard, with working within a dynamic, luxury interiors environment. In this role you will clean and colour correct images to deliver quality digital colour matching to our many fabrics, wallcoverings and accessories.

What will you do?

  • Colour correct product flatshots for publication on our six websites.
  • Deliver quality colour matching to our many fabrics and wallcoverings, utilising technical expertise to determine the best retouching solution needed to achieve colour accurate results for web.
  • Work closely with the photography room to ensure all flat shots are photographed and colour corrected within the set deadlines.
  • Utilise your good understanding of product photography to support in the production and improvement of web assets.
  • Work in collaboration with colleagues to seek feedback on work and implement changes where required.
  • Crop images and maintain file size specification guidelines.
  • Carry out ad hoc duties within graphic design team when required.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years practical Adobe Photoshop experience, preferably in commercial environment
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
