A unique opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to join our busy and diverse Export department. The Romo Group are looking for a linguist who is qualified and fluent in either Italian, Polish, Spanish, German, or French. With customers at the heart of our business your role will be to support our overseas agents, distributors, and customers. You will work in collaboration with a team of expert linguists to ensure our customer journey runs smoothly by keeping them up to date through telephone and email conversations. Your linguist skills will be used to translate a mixture of PR & Marketing documents promoting our luxury fabrics, wallcoverings, trimmings and accessories which are distributed through our agents and distributors including the press.

To be successful in this role we are seeking qualified and fluent linguists who are highly motivated, proactive, and organised. You will have either previously worked in a customer service role or have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, responding to tight deadlines, and prioritising your own workload.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to join our busy and diverse Export department. With customers at the heart of our business your role will be to provide administrative support to our overseas agents, distributors, and customers, including ensuring our customer journey runs smoothly by keeping them up to date through telephone and email conversations. The role will involve order processing, ensuring queries from Agents/Customers are resolved efficiently including providing regular updates, ensuring orders are despatched with correct documentation, as well as general office administration.

What will you do?

  • Work closely with our Interior Design clientele to promote suitable fabric and wallcovering solutions for a wide variety of design projects.
  • Source product options and “schemes” requested by interior designers via email or phone.
  • Manage all aspects of order entry, including quotes, reserves, sales order entry and order processing, along with any and all required follow up.
  • Display integrity with an ever present commitment to providing the best possible Customer Service experience.
  • Keep product merchandising up to date according to standardized company rotations.
  • Maintain a fresh and desirable showroom aesthetic with frequently updated product displays.
  • Manage our customer base and build key relationships within the local design community.
  • Increase our customer base through research and observation, including the use of social media in order to create new leads and become a prime designer resource.
  • Make a conscious effort to host and attend industry events.

Requirements:

  • College degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in either Design, fashion related sales, or prior industry sales experience
  • Positive, energetic, can-do attitude
  • Passionate about luxury products, interior design, architecture and fashion
  • Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management and follow up skills
  • Customer-driven
