Description
A simple embroidery on a finely textured cloth that replicates delicate and considered scrapes made in clay. The Staccato design is embroidered from two space dyed yarns that add visual texture and movement to the design. These embroidered, irregular lines mimic the spontaneous marks that ceramic artist Kyra Cane adds to the surface of her pots to add detail and pattern to a piece.
