- Description
- Taken from a small pastel drawing by ceramic artist Kyra Cane of a field on the Welbeck country estate. The original drawing has been enlarged greatly in scale to become an impactful and dramatic print. Each stroke of the pastel captures the sway and ripple of the grasses as they vigorously move in the elements. Energetic, bold, colourful marks fade and intensify to build layers of spontaneous colour that add visual texture to this mesmerising pattern. Field is printed on a soft, brushed cotton that captures the chalkiness of the artists pastels.
